A new East Providence High School is coming! Residents today overwhelmingly approved Question 4, with nearly 78% in favor of financing the project.

The East Providence Schools Building Committee extends our thanks and congratulations to the families, staff, elected officials, and other community members who advocated for this exciting investment in a state-of-the-art comprehensive high school!

Rhode Island voters also approved Question 1, a statewide ballot question to finance $250 million in bonds to support local school construction and repair projects. As a result, the East Providence High School project will now receive as much as 74.4% State reimbursement on eligible costs, rather than 54.4% if the measure had not passed. Question 1 passed statewide with 77% in favor and 23% opposed.

This website will continue to provide updates to the community throughout the design and construction process.

Congratulations, and thank you!
